Happy birthday Libby and Coachella/Stagecoach
Today my younger sister turned 29 again. She is the same age as me . So happy happy birthday Libby hot mama and many many more. Now about those festivals. Coachella is in April and is a mile or so from my house ( everyone is coming to see me; ok, maybe not ). Duran Duran, Kings of Leon, Black Keys, Kanye West, the Strokes, a bunch of other people. Now me, I would probably feel more at home at Rocklahoma. Or with a Finnish metal band lineup festival. LETMESEE: Indio Finnish Gothic Metal Festival. That would work for me...
Then there is the Stagecoach Festival which is for two days rather than three is 100 bucks less. And the line up there is pretty good: Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and more importantly, Wanda Jackson and Loretta Lynn who truly are legends. Might actually break down and go to that one! :-) We'll see...

Finland ROCKS!!!!!
I posted some videos on my blog via youtube from just two bands in Finland. what is going on in Finland anyway? Weird..... Some amazing bands. There is Nightwish with their melodically infectious Amaranth and The Islander. There is Entwine with their haunting Refill My Soul ( and others ) and the rather unknown but delightfully psychedelic 60s sound with a lead singer ( Henry lee Roots ) that bring to mind both the appearance and the sound vocally and the late Jim Morrison.
So what is it about Finland?
Maybe I should volunteer to work for Santa's workshops if he sends me home with some Finnish rock and roll CDs... :-)
